agreed.

MFJ stop being a prick and tell me how much you paid for your 5.1 Set-up, and was it a 4.6- 5.1 conversion? or just the stright stroked block from livernois?

Its a stock 03 cobra block with a stroker crank. The block has been bored 20 over...

LMAO! My 8.8 should have no problems! JR cuts 1.2 60ft's on the same rear! And that's on a 10.5 tire!!!

At my hp level, lifting the front wheels is easy. The key is to keep your car from "bumper" standing, to get a good 60ft... You want the car lower...

I do need to have my torque boxes welded up though... :/

You don't need that kind of rediculous stall on a nitrous car. A tighter converter will do just as well, if not better on that kind of shot... On that kind of shot, you'll be going through bottles like CRAZY!

More on Converters for nitrous applications:

"Nitrous or supercharging also affect converter selection. An engine with one of these power adders produces more torque than it would if it was normally aspirated. That means a nitrous or blown engine needs a converter with a lower stall speed range. Otherwise, the converter will stall too high, causing it to slip and eventually self-destruct due to the extra heat generated."

Taken from: http://summitracing.com/landing/must...Type=5#FeatTop

NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO TURBO APPLICATIONS... Where a larger stall will actually load the turbo faster...

how much was the machine work? to set the crank in the block and everything?

Dude let sleeping dogs lie, seriously you really are starting to appear immature. Just let it go and Let the guy run his own thread. There is way too much arguing and no where near enough tech info on the lsx swap : )
