brand desecration at its finest, what power level will you be aiming for, im hoping 800+ you wouldn't need that turbo if it wasn't

Uh, yeah... We're talking at least 1200 rwhp here... I'm transforming the car into something more TRACK worthy...

=) glad to hear your gonna make a beast not just a hey look at these sick parts, what are your plans for the current car/engine?

Ehmark 02-28-2009 10:40 PM

bye bye whipple already lol.

BIG EDIT... Had a long talk with the guy that's helping me...

We're doing a 7.0L lq9 with a 3.4 Whipple at 22psi... Looking for around 1k hp on pump...

More on race gas...

With no lag...

Sure I would see more power with the 91mm thumper, but I want something unique...

Going standalone to make it all work, including with my stock cluster...

Using my existing fuel system, getting accessories off of a junkyard ls1, doing an 8 rib pulley set up with all of it. Getting a lower intake manifold from whipple, used for ls1 setups (mainly in sand rails) and modifying it to fit the 3.4 in a way everything will line up. No more MAF tuning as well...

Also, backing it with either a th400 or a 4l80e (if i want overdrive) manual valve automatic... Using my built solid 8.8 until it breaks, with a custom length driveshaft...

Already found a company that makes the K MEMBER for the swap. Tranny mount will be custom... Using all my existing intercooler "stuff"...

I am doing this build out of my garage this time, without the assistance of a shop. The only thing I'll have done by them is wiring the engine management ****, and tuning of course... Motor comes out this week...

Skip the 427 ci buy a 900 ci. This one made between 1500-2500 hp naturally aspirated. I guarantee you wont be upgrading again after that for at least a year lol.http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/UNDERDOG.jpg
