Default what's the deal with overheating?

i hear a lot about cooling mods, running hot, etc.

these don't overheat stock do they? if so, wtf?

do they overheat once modded?

i read a big long thread on svtp about drilling holes in the stock tstat, have any of you guys done that?

i have not, dont plan on it either, only cooling mods I'll do is a radiator expansion tank and intercoolant tank, more fluid, and they look great under the hood

most the cooling mods arent due to the fact that the cars over heat but there are a few things people are trying to prevent, one the notorious head tick in the cobra, secondly once these superchargers start heat soaking they loose quite a bit of power the cooler you can keep it the better off you are. third its just cheap insurance as tim said keepin it safe

....Tanks for sure! ...For the HE, it holds about 3 times more fluid! ...someday I'll get a radiator when I feel I really need it!
