I'm planning on taking my car to a shop to have some 4:30's installed and I wanted to take everything they'll need for the swap. Besides the gear oil and friction modifier, what do I need?

I did some looking and found this kit. Is this all the shop would need for the install?

...It would be a good idea to get the bearing install kit! everything looks good, WOW, 4.30 gears! ...I would have gone with 3.90's or 4.10's ...good luck!

 

have fun with the 4.30's that thing will torgue like crazy...kit looks right though

 

let us know how the 4.30s work out!! I'm very interested in the results highway rpm, pull, top speed, etc!!

 

I would also get some axle bearings. They're cheap and you're already in there.
