it would actually be whipple who would be sued, Lysholm has been making these types of superchargers forever, the GEN 1 whipples were Lysholm, the Eaton superchargers are also made my Lysholm. (whipple kinda took off and started making their own based off copying lysholms design in '05)

so the product im sure is top notch (they definatley know hoe to build superchargers), but with the customer service of Vortech behind it.

so a centrifugal supercharger... hmm, why not place it somewhere other than on top of the intake manifold, is there enough clearance between the hood and the engine for this without a hood scoop?

no this is not a centrifugal system, this is a twin screw. its placed up there on top the INTAKE manifold because thats where the air needs to get anyways.

probably wouldnt clear a V6 hood, but most likely the GT would be fine, and im sure it'll fit under the cobras(they already have one up there haha)

I posted this same thread over on SVTP to see what kind response I would get from them guys and one guy had this to say:

"Guys this is a Whipple....well its the old style whipple. Whipple was originally made by Lysholm Technologies but due to them not being able to keep up with the demand and almost putting whipple under Whipple cut ties with them and now makes in house blowers. So these are identical to the old style Whipples which make less power than the newer Whipples which make less power than the Gen II Whipples. These Vortechs are crap compared to whats out now-a-days. Unless they are about $1K less than a Whipple or Kenne Bell new then they are a complete waste"
