and one more thing if it comes down to it where is a reasonable place to get engine internals and hardware from, and i thought that the cobras come with all forged internals stack, in that case i would hope that it onle ate into the rod bearing and not the rod, hope for the best though

thats low as hell, mine ran a quart and half low and had a lifter collapse on me... I was sure it was toast.. knocking like a bitch. Well anyway I put some moe oil in it and drove two blocks, went away and been fine ever since. But 4 quarts low is insane... esp on a 4v. I can't believe it wasn't chattering like a SOB before this happened.
