Ok, I did do a search but might not have used the correct key words. I was replacing my IRS differential bushings on my 03 Cobra with a Steeda kit and was wondering what the large weight that was mounted under my differential is for? I am assuming to quell vibration. Well should I just put it back together without it? How many of you have removed this?

 

if you look on top of that bracket does it have a plate where it bump stop contacts it? i took if off my gt when i added a diff girdle brace. heavy bracket.

 

ditched mine many thousands of miles ago.

 

its for vibration. Remove it
