Well my transmission mount in the 99 cobra is completely destroyed! Whats the best one to replace with? In my camaro I picked up one from auto zone for like 20 bucks and it was a universal one. Would this work with the cobra? If not where should I get one?

How bad is the install in these cars? In the camaro I had to drop the crossmember but it wasnt too bad.

 

Do yourself a favor. Go to your closest Ford Dealership, and buy an OEM mount...

 

i used an enery suspension one on my gt, i dont think ill ever bust the poly one.

 

wheres best place to find one? Im not having any luck

well i got a mount, how hard to install? cant be that bad, im going to the shop in the morning.

 

not bad if you drop the k member take maybe 6 hours

A tranny mount?!?!?!
Takes 5 minutes to install!

 

lmao 6 hours!!! I did it tonight took about 30 mins. Had to work around the mid pipe and ended up taking it off to make it easier. Tranny dosent move at all now. But there is still a slight clunk when going into higher gear and lower speeds. Prob. the irs bushings. Any ideas?
