need cv shafts soon
today i was replacing the fuel filter, PITA compared to my gt; anyways, i notice that one of my cv shafts boot had a small nick on it and was leaking its grease. just wondering where to look for replacements. i don't go to drag strip but i don't mind putting some over zealous import in their place. i normal use replacement time to do upgrade time. my only future plans so far is to get the heaton ported and run the 2.8 pulley i already have, but if i sell my gt maybe a whipple =) . it doesn't seem any different than changing a fwd car axle but i haven't done one yet so is their anything i need to be aware of for the swap. do i replace the entire cv assembly or is it a 2 piece design? any (+) inputs will be appreciated. or can i just repair the boot and regrease it?

I would not fix it. I would just get a new one OE one. I just got done doing my springs a couple weeks ago and my shaft came disconnected inside the boot cause my friend tried yanking it out of the spindle. I work on cars every day of my life and that was one of the biggest PITA things ever. Besides you don't go to the track so you really don't have to upgrade now. That and I had looked up half shafts foe the Termis before for my car and I think they were only like $125-150. I think the upgrade ones on Lethal are 500 or 700 for the cheapest ones.
