SCT question: If you play around with the parameters on a tune before you upload to the car (tweak the timing, etc.), the next time you upload it, does the tune return to the stock parameters that tune had?? ...or does it keep the same "adjustments" I made??!!

Also, Can I use my SCT xcal2 to scan other Ford OBDII cars while it has a tune (etc.) on my Cobra??

are you changing the parameters on the tuner? if so when you reload the tune there is an option to keep the parameters youve changed or use the non-adjusted ones thats on my SF3 though, and no idea about scanning codes

 

Yes you can use the Xcal to read trouble codes on any other Ford OBDII car. I had to use mine to read the codes on my Ex's Cougar while my GT was tuned. It's only locked for performance tuning.
