Default Car lowered an 1" want more..

When I Bought my 99 cobra it was already lowerred. I think 1" or 1.5". The springs are Eibach, I looked at um. I like how the rear sits but I want the front about 1 inch lower.

How much of the coil should I cut for around a 1" drop? Ive already decided that this is how I am going to do it. Anyone know?

I was reading around and figured about 1/2 of a coil will put me around one more inch of drop. Does this sound about rite?

Have you taken all your ISO out? I would do that before cutting them.

you have to cut an entire loop, otherwise it wont sit in the pocket correctly, does the car have isolaters? you could just remove it if it does...... but if you cut 1 coil it'll drop around 1"

How bad do you think? I have isolators in there but will it hurt if I remove them? Metal on metal noise? How much drop will I get with isolators removed?

Removing all ISO's is fine. Do not cut them springs. If anything buy some H&R sport spring and then sell the ones you got now to make some money back. Here is a pic of mine with H&R Sport Spring with all ISO's in.

Also if you go any lower you will need Caster/Camber Plates.

I like that look. I just need my front down a little more for a nice "rake". I may do the H&R Sports, they look nice. Ill probably take all the iso out tomorrow and see how it looks.

if you go any lower than that, you'll need a street sweeper to follow you and pick up the parts that fall off
