like i said before, it is very difficult to put into gear when i get up to high rpm's...and am now smelling a burning smell ever so often.....i dont think its just the quadrant anymore.....possible clutch on the way out? any recommendations on replacement clutched would be great....the stage 2 spec clutch looks about right, im pushing 497 ft lbs torque....anyone have that clutch on theres and is it any good? and what is the install time on new clutch?

Your stock FW grommet and Quadrant is probably what hurt your clutch. When you put a new clutch in I HIGHLY ADVISE you to put an aftermarket FW Adj/Quad in...it will give your cable the range it needs to function properly.

DFX, RAM SHD, McLeod, etc...all good clutches. Clutches are a matter of opinion or preference...I personally wouldn't use a SPEC if they gave it to me for free. Too many safety concerns. But since I'm going to get flamed for bashing SPEC, a lot of guys have had good success with them. But after seeing one come through the tunnel of a corvette (almost killed the driver), I will never run one.

BTW install time for a guy who knows what he's doing can be about 3 hours. I've dropped my tranny in 28 minutes before. So it ain't bad...

ordered a new clutch spec stage 2....and steeda clutch quadrant, adjuster, and cable.....and just to clarify, another sign of new clutch is loss of acceleration correct? car does not seem to catch and through you in the back of the seat like it used to

You know its the clutch when the car is in gear and your trying to acceleeate (pushing gas pedal down) and the engine gains RPM but doesn't seem to be going any faster....also known as clutch slip. Sorry for the kindergarden explanation, but I wasn't sure if you knew...
