Default 03 COBRA HARD START

I HAVE AN 03 COBRA, 32,000 MILES ON IT.....AND SOMETIMES IT TAKES A COUPLE SECONDS FOR IT TO TURN OVER AND START, AND THE RPM'S WILL SLOWLY CREEP UP(THE RPM'S DONT JUMP UP LIKE WHEN ITS FIRST STARTED)......THIS WILL HAPPEN WHEN I SHUT IT OFF, THEN COME BACK A FEW MIN LATER AND TURN IT BACK ON.......JUST WONDERING IF THE HARD START IS COMMON ON THESE CARS? IF NOT, WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE REPLY'S

Turn the key all the way but don't start it. Let the fuel pump kick on first, then push the gas pedal only about 1inch in and start it. Should take care of your problem.

^^ Mine does this and so does my buddies 03. My buddy gave me the idea of what I mentioned above and it works for both me and him.
