I HAVE AN 03 COBRA, 32,000 MILES ON IT.....AND SOMETIMES IT TAKES A COUPLE SECONDS FOR IT TO TURN OVER AND START, AND THE RPM'S WILL SLOWLY CREEP UP(THE RPM'S DONT JUMP UP LIKE WHEN ITS FIRST STARTED)......THIS WILL HAPPEN WHEN I SHUT IT OFF, THEN COME BACK A FEW MIN LATER AND TURN IT BACK ON.......JUST WONDERING IF THE HARD START IS COMMON ON THESE CARS? IF NOT, WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE REPLY'S
any mods on the car or check engine light? r u saying when you turn the key the started doesnt pic up and it takes it a few seconds to start to turn the engine?
mods on the car are smaller pulley, x pipe no cats w/magnaflow mufflers, no check engine light, got it tuned and dynoed 2 weeks ago...but it was doing it before then, any thoughts of what it could be? or is this normal?
Turn the key all the way but don't start it. Let the fuel pump kick on first, then push the gas pedal only about 1inch in and start it. Should take care of your problem.
