Alot of people over at svtperformance have done this, there is even a tech write up on it floating around. Doesn't sound too hard, and people are recommending it if your cobra has over 60-70k and is equipped with the IMRC's. Seafoam seems to be a trick used by some that don't have the time to clean the IMRC's, but I've never done either, and never had a problem/loss of power.

Let us know how it goes Casper, I'm sure your write up will be a good one. Is the cobra your dad's? How many miles?

Yup. my dads. 1997. 80k on her as of today when i finished. took me about 3 hours. Too my time and everything went smoothly. Was pretty easy. ALOT of carbon buiild-up. The gaskets were NOT cheap. lol. Did a oil service, rear end service, tranny service ( second gear is ... almost gone. lol) I went through 12 cans of carb cleaner. lol. It was pretty nasty underthere. I forgot my damned digital camera. Cause i would have LOVED to have gotten pics of this it was pretty nastty, But oh well.
