Default IRS Clunk(driverline slack) 99 cobra..

"If you're driving along at a steady speed and you just lift your foot off the throttle, there was a noticeable "clunk" as the drive line unwound. Once you placed your foot back on the throttle it would clunk again when it took the slack back up."

The above statement describes my problem 100%.
What will be needed to fix this problem?

It's common. A lot of the "slack" just comes from the u-joints, bushings etc. getting old and worn. The most common solution to the "Cobra Clunk" is to replace the carrier bushings with poly or aluminum aftermarket replacements.

I would order from LethalPerformance.com

If your unsure give them a call, they are very knowledgeable, and have great customer service!
