i got my block and heads to the shop and i have them installing a 5.0 stroker kit boering it .20 over, port polishing the heads, valve job, stainless steel valves, and some nice cams. Said i should be running 9.5 compression wich is built for power adders as in : turbo,supercharger, or nitrous

can somone give me some pros and cons on this before i spend 7500$

well youw ont have as much power naturally aspirated. what kinda cams are you going with?

 

dont see any cons, unless you dont have forged internals.

not sure what kind of cams yet i just know theyr from comp cams..forged crank forged dishtop pistons and manley rods witholds 750-1500 hp... but other then that!! sounds awsome thanks guys!

 

Cams are going to matter a lot too... Great cams for a naturally asprirated engine will be HORRIBLE for forced induction...

 

buy a Procharger D1 or a Vortech T trim or a Novi 2000. (Race Ready)

Reverse Rotation... for all/any of them.
