Default need help diagnosing this problem

well i just picked up this 95 cobra svt and once its under load around 4500 rpm its seems to lose power and the tach starts to fluctuate. this happends only when its in gear, if its idling it goes thru the whole range fine. it doesnt seem like clutch slippage no steady cel lights yet but i think a code is pending since the cel light has been going on and off. i am going to change plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor and see how that goes but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and seeing what you did to solve it. also when im turning there is some noise coming from the clutch area once in a while or when im in 2nd gear there is a little scraping sound. any input is greatly appreciated sucks that i have 2 projects now haha.

Change your spark plugs... And make sure that they are gapped correctly...
