Exclamation HELP plz!

OK! I am new and come to you for some fast help! I am looking at a 2004 blck/vert cobra. In the dealer pics it has California plates on it. I NEED to know asap- Did the cobra require california emmissions crap, is it easy to remove? And will it cost much if its not easy to remove, or is it something deeper that you cannot remove? thanks. aAnd hopefully you help me fast so I can pull the trigger on it! Also- ifs its only exhaust emmisions, will buying new exhaust take care of it? THANKS

ALL vehicles in Cali, require passing emissions. If the car is stock it will pass the emissions test no problem. There is no need for new exhaust unless it already has no cats, in which case, cats will need to be re-installed. But legally a dealership cannot willfuly sell a vehicle that doesn't pass emissions without telling the customer. They are responsible for returning the vehicle to stock if needed to pass a test. Also, they must have the car tested to get a new registration for it. Very little that you are responsible for.

yeah the cali emissions "crap" would just be restrictive exhaust and the EGR system which you can remove. so its fairly simple

its not restrictive at all... if its the stock x-pipe, its the same exhaust that came on any cobra, reguardless where its from.

thats usually something people swap out anyways...

i say buy it if the price is right
