A local used car dealer has a Bone Stock 2004 MysticChrome Cobra RagTop with 9.5k miles....They're asking $28.4k (told me $26.7 cash would take it)...Cobra is in great shape, few minor, very small scrathes, nothing major!

Anyways, I offered them my 2005 Mustang GT Ragtop (clear title), AOD (13.1k miles - wife's car) that has never seen a rainy day, ALL stock except Pypes AB, & $6500 cash...they turned down for now...so they can see what happens on eBay!

...What do you think of my offer??

ur car is worth maybe 16k plus the 6500 so a total of 22.5k there losing almost 6k off top and then they have to check out your car get it road ready thats more money the dealer is spending and then they gotta sale the trade or they could hope to get a sale on ebay and make 28k with no trades to deal with

 

They've already seen my GT, and they're happy with it! ...they offered me $18.3k on the trade!

...anyways, the Cobra has 1 hour to go on eBay & the current high bid is $19.2k (reserve at $27.5k according to the dealer)...so who knows yet!

 

well i hope they give you call and you can get the deal done but we all know dealers are greedy! i will be in the market for a mystic around dec. when i slap on this 3.4 whipple on my 04

 

...I made one bid with a few seconds to go at $19.8k and was otbid by $100...Car never even hit $20k...maybe that will be a good thing for me!?

...Will do ^^^...I saw the MC Cobra yesterday & spoke with the dealer! ...They're basically saying my '05 GT is worth $16k to them!

...I just might test the market with the S197!
