Default Throttle Sticking

well ya can have a few things here....

first the starting problem

1. Have a ever changed ur fuel fillter? i had the same problem on my GT. I chaged the fillter and it was fine.

2. Cold starts in the morning? Old battery maybe? try that

3. Ever chaged your spark plugs? try that

as for the sticking throttle....

my gt did that too...

1. get down there w/ a flash light and see if the peddle it self is looking ok. There should be 2 clips on the back of it. On my gt the top clip brook and made it stick when i riped it...

2. Check the throttle body when your car is off. Open and close the t/b a few times to see if the linkage is ok...

IF all else fails get some1 to look at it...

GOOD LUCK

keep me posted

Does the throttle stick open or closed? If it sticks closed, you need to clean out the throttlebody where the throttle blade closes down against the body, there will be some sludge in there that can be cleaned with carb cleaner, just hold the throttle open by hand and spray. hope this helps,

Use throttle body cleaner. AsI think carb cleaner will hurt the injectors.
