I've only been driving my Cobra for 2 weeks now and I havn't had that problem, but the problem I had was everybody wanting to race my 5.0, then I'd toss them a rev and once they heard the KB they were no longer too intriqued

I don't know, I haven't seen that happen much. I guess it's b/c most 2V owners that are going to step up to the plate with a blown 4V will probably be bringing a little something to the table. In other words you probably won't encounter your average 13 second GT, unless the guy is an idiot... or atleast that's what I've noticed.
OP: you just ran into a bunch of young idiots who think that their cars are the fastest things on the planet...

Yep we got some of those around here. They think they have the fastest cars lol. Some have never seen a mach 1 b4 and they think its a gt with a body kit, but after one round with them they just give me an angry glare lol.

I have a 2v and dont act like that at all , I usually get the 4v's guys reving at me, hell I get choads and tools in jeeps , trucks , 300cs and had even a mini van rev next to me lol. I rarely mess with anyone on the streets unless there being tards. For instance A guy in a 4.0 mustang was reving his engine at my GF at a stop light (mind you she drives a contour). When the light would turn green he would go full throttle and cut in front of her (Mind you she's pregnant) and then slow down then switch next to her, So she called me and luckily I was around the corner and I pulled up behind her in my grandpa's Chevelle and told her to turn into the gas station. Next light I cut next to him and reved my engine and he looked at me like he was scared , So the light turned green and he accelerated like a granny and turned into blockbuster as I followed him in there and pulled up next to and told him be a man and dont race prego chicks. The punk kid sayd he dont race unless its for slips and walked into the store. It amazes me but OP you def. ran into a group of choads , It happens all over.

I wanted too but Im 5'11 270lbs and he was one of those tight jean emo kids so there was nothing to prove , But if she would of went in shock and something happend to my gf and kid I would went ape sh$t on him. Too many dumb a$$ kids nowadays with no sense at all trying to be cool and do dumb stuff behind the wheel , its annoying.

i feel ashamed to drive a 2v right now. i know there is no way in hell that i'll be beating a cobra anytime soon. but i've had the same problem but the other way around. a guy that lives a town over from me, has a sonic blue cobra, and i always see him when i'm out going anywhere, and he always revs at me, and what not. he just acts like a douch. but last time he got a nice purge shot in his direction lol...i love cobras and wish i had one. so yeah you ran into a bunch of douch bags, that think their ISH don't stink.
