Default DOHC 4.6 Torque

Don't get me wrong I love my 2001 Cobra. It has 56k miles, only mod is Bassani catback exhaust.

Basically I wish I had more torque. I think my car came with 3.27's stock so that is not helping. Anyone else feel this way? My car is fast when I am in it, I just wish it made a little more power down low. Do I just need to go for it and gear it or should I do something different? This is my daily driver, but at 50 mph in 5th I am turning close to 1500 rpm... How bad are 4.11's on the freeway? Would 4.11's wake this car up significantly?

Thanks guys.

the n/a cobras are better in higher rpm and like you said are dogs down low. you could do 410s and it will really wake your car up, my buddy just put 410s on his and is loving it. or you can go f/i

4.10s aren't too bad, I have them in my 98 Cobra and i still got 24 miles to a gallon on a trip i recently took. They are nice when you get them put in.

4.10's are a great fairly cheap mod that will really wake your car up. DOET
