Default exhaust leak

i think i hear an exhaust leak at the drivers side. i dont think its where the headers bolt to the head since the headers look like they seal better then early year mustangs, since you can really get a wrench on them and tighten them. plus i hear it more at the bottom of the car. car came with jba shorty headers and appears to be stock h-pipe(4 cats). im getting ready to order an aftermarket x-pipe with cats. any input as to the best x-pipe to install that WONT leak. im gonna get hi-flow cats. i figured the passenger side would leak since its the side with the gasket. thanks for the input guys.

Dr. Gas makes the best flowing X pipe but good luck finding one. Closely behind is Magnaflow, followed Suit by Bassani.

I have a Bassani on my 95 and the quality is top notch, just make sure you get the stainless steel pipes. Yea, they'll discolor near the spots where the cats are, but they'll never rust.

Best thing to do is put it up on a lift and make sure its an exhaust leak and not something worse. These engines are pretty bulletproof but you never know.

What's wrong with an H-pipe?
