Welcome from Michigan myself. I have 4.10s in my Cobra, and they're just about perfect. 2,500 RPM at 70mph in 5th, and a nice powerband in the city. I have stock manifolds, with a UPR non-catted X pipe, and Flowmaster American-Thunder catback. It sounds good, and isn't stupid loud.

Default Thanks again

Guys

Thanks for the input so far. Sounds like we're split between 4:10 and 4:30. I wouldn't want to spend the coin for 4:10's and be disappointed. I guess I'll sleep on it. I am wondering if I can change the speedo gear to match the new ratio. Livernois Motorsports told me on 98 that I'd have to use a Jeep speedo gear, and that it will break in about 6 months. I see that Steeda's website has speedo gears, so maybe I'll try that. Otherwise, I'm out $100 for the speed cal thing, I assume.

Now, onto exhaust...I've listened to some sound clips, and I like the mac prochamber o/r with the mac exhaust, and also with the flowmasters.
Has anyone had an issue using the MIL eliminators, or should I plan on getting a tune done?

Other than that, I think the JLT ram air intake is about all I'm going to do for now.

Opinions? Thanks guys..

How much highway driving do you do? Since most Michigan expressway is 70mph..which means most people will do 80mph. At 80mph I'm at 3,000 rpm with 4.10s.

ya if you do a lot of highway driving, get the 4.10s. The higher your gear ratio the less time you have in your powerband, which means if you do any roll races on the freeway youll lose even if you have the same hp as the other car.

You need to do exhaust first before the intake. Why intake more air then you can exhale with the stock exhaust on there?
