Maybe I missed it on there but what is he asking for it? Because if any other cobra owner out there like myself who likes to play with there cars and throw some mods in there every now and then doesnt always drive the car easy from time to time. I would have a big problem buying a car that someone has already mildly built up the bottom end of a motor because thats something you cant just tear into and see by popping the hood up. I would ask the owner if he still has reciets of his purchases of some mods especailly the bottom end mods. I mean who knows he might have did what i did with my 01 cobra and blew that thing sky high and then turned around and rebuilt that whole bottom end up like I did with mine but, most ppl who tear into the bottom end of motors unless there like serious race car builders dont just open the bottom end of a motor and rebuild it and then turn around and part off with it that easy. Like i said i would ask for some type of proof of purchases with some of the lower end mods. Be careful with this car bud.

^ +1

By the extensive lists of mods it seems that this 01 cobra owner knows what he was doing with his car, and that was wanting to make it go faster and faster. The car no doubt has been driven to its full potential but along with being cautious about the engine you have to worry about the trany and rear end who knows how well those have responded to his 500 hp. All depends on how much he is asking for it.

I tend to shy away from a car like this...unless I know the car!

a big +1 to that.

i prefer to purchase a car that is stock or at least close to it. mods scare me on a car that im about to purchase. there are just way too many unknowns. for example, who did all of the work on the car? was everything installed correctly? are the parts used quality parts? who tuned the car? what software was used? was the car taken to the strip regularly? you can eliminate a lot of these types of questions just by looking at an unmodded car.

unless you know this guy, or really trust him (which can be very stupid from a buyers standpoint) i would stay away from the car.

btw...you got any more info on the car?

One good part about buying a car this nicely modified is you save a lot of money compared to buying a stock one and doing it yourself

If I was to get this I would get a new tune to be safe and do some suspension mods and be done

Good luck!
