Default Convertible springs on a coupe

In my quest to try to soften my ride on my 03 I was wondering what yall thought about putting convertible springs in my hardtop. The spring pounds is less than the coupe springs and should soften the ride should'nt it?

I wouldn't do it at all.

Let me ask you this, Why would you want to go with a softer spring? To me this just does not add up. You want a stiffer ride not softer.

Most coupe vs. vert spring packages are really the same springs. However, a softer spring should soften the ride, but I would not do that. IMO your money is better spent on better shocks and struts, and sticking with a sport spring.

The stock shocks and struts are more then fine for a DD/Weekend Cruiser. Unless OP is doing some track racing, he's better off saving his money and sticking with the stockers.

Its a daily driver, not a drag car or slalom racer. My car is getting beat up on my f***ed up streets and I just want to soften up the ride alittle. Vert springs can't be as bad as you seem to think or else the verts would have coupe springs. Aaah, dont guys drag verts too?

well softer springs will give u a better ride, but when people want to drag irs verts they need coupe springs or cobra r springs to minimize wheel hop.
