Default Supercharger Choice?

I have been reading and readind and everyone seems to have their own opinion on what they like? What is the best bang for the buck?
I am on a tight budget
By the looks of it the Vortech creates some really good numbers on its application for the 98 Cobra. It seems to be a good bit more money than others. Let me know what you guys think
I know I have a million questions and I cant thank you guys enough for your patience. I will spread the knowledge as I get it to give the regulars a break !
haha

When you say tight budget, how much are you talking about? Whatever SC you decide on make sure you go with an intercooler setup. Vortech and Procharger seem to be the best for the 96-98 cobra. But If I were you, I would save the money you would put towards a SC and just keep saving and go turbo!

If you end up going with a SC, Vortech would be my pick!

I'd go with Kenny Bell. It is a safe, well engineered system. Do your self a favor and speak with someone at Kenny Bell. Even if you don't buy theirs you will get some education on superchargers.

It's Kenne Bell...

And If you're on a budget, I would go with an intercooled Procharger set up.
If money wasn't an issue, I'd do a Kenne Bell set up... They are costlier, BUT the instant boost of a twin screw is awesome...

If you want to go all out, go with a turbo set up though...

^^ intercooled prochargers are pretty price depending on what unit your talking about.

Now you could also consider watching the forums for a used unit, usually u can get some pretty good deals

They're made by STS. I wouldn't recommend a turbo setup to ANYONE on a budget. Been there, done that. Cheapest power adder is nitrous...PERIOD!
