Geico informed me that I will be paying 162 a month for the first 6 months then it drops down to like 135 a month. I guess if you have 6 clean months of driving they lower your premium.

I was with Progressive Insurance and the were raping me, I switched to GEICO with the exact same coverage and literally saving a ton of money(Progressive $1400/GEICO$600)Remember you age and violations will effect how much you pay, and in some cases your credit score.

I'm 21 years old with an 01 Cobra Convertible, full coverage and 500 deduct is roughly $102 a month through State Farm in my name. I only have to pay that during the summer months though and put it back to comp. when winter hits. That's actually not bad considering my 02 Mistubishi Diamante is about $70 a month. Considering I'm only paying 30 bucks a month for a convertible Cobra and about 300 more horsepower that's not so bad. The biggest problem is, my insurance agent said I should probably not try for gap insurance on the stuff because if they see all my modifications under the hood, they're able to drop me. I don't completely understand this, because if I go buy a 1000hp car off the lot with a higher value they'd have no problems, but I have a 500 hp car they don't have to pay as much for when problems arise and they don't want it.

Thanks.
