Default Irs Problems

Just have a quick questions for some that my know or have had the same problem. I am having a problem with the IRS loosing the toe in alignment on my 1999 Cobra. It seems to hold for about two months before I notice the wear on the outer edges of the tires. I just went and bought a lifetime alignment because the shop said they can't see anything that is wrong with it. I would like to get the problem fixed instead of taking it so often and getting it aligned. So could it be bushings, characteristics of IRS or what? Thanks for you time and help.

my advice would be take it to a ford dealership....thats what I did yesterday for different things.... some things you just want fixed by ford... others not. for that it sounds like a ford thing

mine goes out pretty quick, but not 2 months. i have a friend w/ 03, and before he did his rear swap, he was having serious alignment problems. i honestly couldnt tell you why it is, but i guess its something we have to live with.
