Right but i see descriptions like married or unmarried etc.. What are some things to look out for? I am assuming married would mean it would only work on that persons car. If so why would they still try to sell it? Can they be unlocked?
Yes married means its locked on the persons car, they can be unlocked by sending it back to sct or whoever the manufacturer is for 50 bucks
So if u found one for let's say 150 locked, even after the 50 fee to unlock u'd be saving almost 200 bucks

Is Hypertech an ok brand?
There is a guy who lives very close to me (super convenient) that has one for sale for $150--unmarried. I don't ever plan on getting a dyno tune, just want to add a little HP and correct speedometer with gears I'll be getting.

I went with the Pro Racer's Package from D'Agostino Racing. Came with the SCT Xcal3, Livewire, the Dongle, and everything else I needed to tune the car. I think it was around $650 for the whole deal.
