Default 03 cobra purchase

Hey guys I'm looking around at buying an 03 cobra and not sure what to look out for. I'm going to test drive one tomorrow and am wondering if you all could tell me some things to look out for (noises, what to look for, etc.). I don't want to buy one that has been all beat to hell but how can I tell that it won't have any problems once I buy it? Thanks

Look over this:

And if you still got question we will be happy to answer them.

If it is a good owner that has it, they should be able to provide you with the orig window sticker, svt owner manual and sheets, and svt build certificate. Also listen for a head tick, if you don't know what it sounds like go on youtube.com and type in cobra head tick and you will know what it sounds like. Good luck!

Thank you guys. No luck so far, the guy that has it owns a used car lot and bought it at an auction so I doubt that he has any paperwork. When he bought it he said that it had a miss in one of the cylinders but the compression is fine. He has replaced the coilpack, and fuel injector but says that it still idles really rough. On monday he is going to do some head work and possibly replace the valve spring. Even if this seems to fix the problem could there be any future issues that the car could have or should it be safe. The car has 72k miles btw.

What's the price on the car? A lot can be riding on that especially with 72K on the clock. I would pass and keep in mind that there are better deals out there. With the issues you name I feel as though this car was not taken car of or tuned properly at some point. So to the headaches will not be worth the extra $2K-3K saved.

The guy wants 15k so its a pretty good deal assuming it isn't in bad shape. Thanks all of you for the help I think I will just take it to a local speed shop and have them look it over for me.
