IMO bbk makes cheap garbage, So I say either JLT or C&L, I have used both products on many of my mustangs and they give the same hp/tq. I say go with whichever one you can get for cheaper. Also the JLT will give you engine bay some style since you can get the tube painted to match your car or any color you choose. It also comes in carbon fiber.

Why paint it yourself when you can get it already painted? It's only $15 more on the ram air intake and $25 more on the CAI.

^^ Pick whichever kit you want.

PM either (Boostaddict) which is "Jared" or (Carbd86gt@lethal)

I've always PM'd Jared (boostaddict) for it and he usually gets back to you in the morning.

Even if you got a larger diameter tube with an aftermarket intake, would getting the ram-air one be doing nothing for hp gains since your stock system is cold-air? I mean, you might be moving more air, but it's gonna be hotter...You might as well get the cold air one. The stock intake is not restrictive, really. I just popped in a K&N and removed the screen in front of the MAF. I think the most beneficial thing you could do to a stock intake would be to remove that giant pillar the MAF is on top of, blocking off like 15% of the airway. I don't know about sawingit out, but replacing the MAF assembly. Just food for thought.
