Default Clutch?

99' Cobra. Throw out bearing is almost gone. will be doing a clutch soon. I am looking for a clutch that has pretty stock feel, smooth engagement, no chatter, etc. Does anyone have any experience with the Spec Stage 1? Any info appreciated.

Oh really? I have heard just the opposite. My Spec 3+ clutch is doing just fine, at my level.

Spec did have a few issues with the Spec 3-discs coming unriveted when they first came out. That has since been resolved.

In street use on a typical sub-400rwhp car the Ram 92794 is a very nice unit. NO chatter and only very modest (if any) increase in pedal effort. I've got a friend using two of them right now in bolt on cars; 1-4.6; 1-5.0, and the clutch has taken everything he can throw at it. Cars are daily driven and I know one clutch is around 70k miles on it and is still holding strong.

Make sure you get an aluminum clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster.

The Fiore pieces are top notch, but of course there are a few hundred others on the market too.
