Looks like the rings did, But only on 3 pistons. Not yet sure which ones I still need to go take a look.

Imma see what are my options though.

Money is tight right now.

 

A couple of pistons have carbon build up on them.

Here are my two options:

a) get a 5.1l stroker kit

b) rebuild the shortblock

I would love to go a). Money is tight for me right now, considering I will have to purchase supporting mods...i.e. KB boost-a-pump, MAF, injectors.

I'm gonna be going with option b) due to the cost factor.

The heads are still gonna get their stage 2 port job.

I'll keep updating this thread as info comes to me.

haven't gone with any yet. Don't have the cash at the moment.

It will be coming apart in the future. that's where i'll get all customy.
