Default Finally getting heads fixed!!

No more smoke at start ups. I have worn valve guides which will be getting replaced soon. I'm taking in the cobra on thursday to get fixed along with a stage 2 head porting job. It will be getting pullied and tuned so we'll see how that goes. I expect all this to be done by the end of next month.

After that gets done, I'm gonna be replacing my struts/shocks with some tokico illuminas. The rear is sitting too low. Then I'm gonna order an Irs brace along with the differential bushings. I don't wanna break my diff cover again.

Before I get new tires (315's in the rear ), I'm gonna be ordering a set of cc plates from griggs.

So finally since 2007 when I purchased it, I'm gonna be experiencing different power. Should I expect it to pull more than stock? If so, were any of you that are pullied surprised when you went wot on it?

Let me know! Specially you Jon.

note: I have to put on my stock exhaust before the 30th, I have to take it to inspection a couple of times, well 4 times.

Congrat man! You will deff notice a huge difference in the pull feel once you get pullied. I almost wish I would have done it sooner lol. I picked up big hp/tq numbers also.

Cobra has successfully been dropped off at the shop to get the valve seals/guides replaced along with a stg 2 port/polish.

I'll continue to update the thread as information comes.

It will be in about 3 weeks. Then it will be going to R.E.T. in downey to get tuned with a 2.76" pulley.

Awesome. I'm really glad that you didn't wreck or blow up before you got there!

Dropped the cobra off at the shop last Thursday. Got some bad news today. Shortblock is needing a rebuild.

I'm talking with my mechanic and a 5.1l stroker is in the air for me right now.

I'll see how things go. I'm heading over there in a bit. I'll be sure to take some pics for you guys.

I'm gonna need to stock up on fuel supporting mods. I have a 2.76" pulley with belt on its way, just purchased today.

So I'm gonna be looking for a kb boost a pump, and a sct maf.

I'm gonna be looking for cams too! All within time though.

That's my good and bad news.

edit: Here's the kit I'm looking at.....http://www.speedomotive.com/ps-137-1...roker-kit.aspx

So what is going on with your stock short block? Why is it needing a rebuild? The kit you linked looks good. What failed on your bottom end though?
