Default I need new tires

The current tires (stock) are not cutting it on this car. I need to know what is the best size to go with on the stock wheel, as I plan on keeping the stock/chrome look. I prefer and really want to go with a Nitto tire.

Something a little beefy, but reasonable on these wheels.

Thanks in advance for your insight.

Btw....I am inquiring about these for the '03 cobra.

Price isn't an issue as much as a really good quality of tire.

Been hearing a lot about these nitto's. I think I'm gonna try them. Are they better than the BFG's?

If price is not an issue why not the Goodyear F1 or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

I am not a big fan of the Goodyear F1's just based on my personal experience with the tires. I have had a set of Nitto's, and I had really good luck out of them. I really want to replace the current tires with Nitto's.

I had Invo's and felt very safe on the wheels. I haven't ever tried the 555's, but I know lots of folks that have. I guess my main question is what size can I safely go up to the stock rim and still look nice? I would love to have 305's on the rear, but I know I can't do that and keep the stock wheels. I don't want aftermarket wheels on this car.

Thanks again for the help.
