american muscle sells a 17x10.5 replica. I've been debating on whether or not to just buy two of those for the rear and then buying the 555rs for a nice rear stance
If this car is just a weekend or cruiser car just run some nittos nt05s on all four corners and the stock tire size. What is you power level plans and goals for this car?
Go with the SVT replica 10.5 and 315s on the rear!! I have them on my 98 Cobra and it's sick looking! I had to slightly bend my after market cat-back tail pipes because there was a rubbing issue but all in all 315s on the rear are awesome! When I get it back on the road i'll only have to resolve the traction issue haha.
my car has had pilots, bfg, mickey thompson, and a couple diff types of nittos and the best set for street use from my opinion is the 555dr's....mickeys if you heat them will hook better but thats heating each use....i would invest in the replica 17x10.5 you wont be dissappointed!!
I've had nitto 555xtremes (street radials), and they held up good on the street, i've heard 555Rs don't hook as well as ET Streets(MTs) at the track, but if you're not going to the track maybe nitto DRs, though i am not sure how they are in the rain, i heard with the E/T streets over 50mph in the rain is a no no, thats to be expected with a DR though.

My intentions for this car was just an occassional good-time driver. I don't plan on making any tracks at the dragway. (I do know my limitations, lol)

Tim,
The cars are gorgeous. You both have awesome cars. I love the wheels on hers, especially. Yours look great, but I am very partial to the chrome ones. Thanks for sharing the awesome pictures.
