Default Looking for a Cobra

Hey guys, so I got my first mustang when I turned 18 and it's been a great car but someone hit it, it was fixed but it's just not the same. Right now as my car sits I can out run a bolt on GT so I don't want to just get a GT and be at the same level. I've been looking into maybe getting a 99,01,02 Cobra (don't got the cash for a termi unfortunately) Would i be able to find a decent one for around 10,000? I read about the "head tick" could someone shed a little light on this? I did a quick search on it, is it just a poor coolant flow issue that causes the heads to overheat? Are there any other major issues I need to watch out for? As for the clutch in them, I'm used to my stage 3, hows the stock cobra clutch feel in comparison to a upgraded clutch?

1. The only 02 cobras that were made were shipped to Australia, none in the US.
2. The 99's had a recall, but I believe all the cars were fixed and if not just take it to your ford dealership.
3. Check on SVTP in the "Market Place" you will find some really well taken care of 99/01 cobras.

X 2

Check out SVTP for a good used low mile 99-01. The clutch is the same type, Hydraulic.

The 03/04's have Cable Clutches, and are way heavier in comparison. An aftermarket clutch will be a bit stiffer, depending on the level of the clutch. I.E Spec 3 or 4, etc.

Congrats!

well that's your opinion and im not here to debate with you on something that doesn't matter.

Ohh yeah i knew i'd have to travel for it. I was looking on SVTP and found one in TN that looks nice. '99 with 87,000 miles for $9500. does that sound about right? only mods are a set FLSFCs and a steeda quadrant. looks to be in real good shape
