Default Thinking about a 98 Cobra..

I have had several Mustangs in past and Im now looking at buying a 98 Cobra for a toy. How well does the 98 4.6 4v deal with a blower on a stock engine? Do you have any issues running the stock motor trans?

Welcome.

98 is a good year. You can slap on a blower and supporting mods and be fine. T45 is a great tranny. Pretty big leap from 1st to 2nd and from 4th to 5th but it will do you just fine. You'll love it. Don't pay more than 8-9k.

The motors are fine up to around 450 bhp, that seems to be there limits. So run no more than 9 psi inter cooled on a stock block.
