About to purchase an 03 Cobra.

I drove the car a month or so ago, and it runs, drives, and stops great. I was really impressed. "Knock on wood"- I do not believe the "head tick" these motors from what I have researched are on the loud side, due to how large they are and the fuel injectors? I called SVT yesterday and they gave me a build date of 03/03 which is past the T.S.B. of the head issues (11/1/02). Then I read that the actual heads that were manufactured to solve the problem were not made until 05, so I am a little confused there....

Picked the car up today, drove it 50 miles home, got it registered and tagged, brought it home washed it, and the girlfriend wanted to go out in it. The car exceeds my expectations, it is more fun to drive than I ever thought, the power is amazing.... I will get some pics up.

As a new cobra owner it's freaking awesome.. I get more looks in that thing than I ever did in my GT or even my dad's CTS-V. Sorry I'm not quite sure how you obtain the SVT certificate? Thanks and post pics soon!

Thanks everyone, I tried to contact a person selling a Sonic Blue one, they never returned my emails.... Oh well, I am in LOVE with what I got! Spent all night in the garage with her! My father just actually purchase an AC Shelby Cobra 429 big block a few months back (which was good motivation for my purchase), I want to get some pictures of the two cars together and post them up. Thanks again for all of the posts, this seems like a friendly site.
