I'm looking for any and all TSB's from 03 Cobra's that also pertain to 04 Cobra's and also any current TSB's on the car.

I just picked up an 04 Cobra and have no known issues with the car yet, but I'd like to have a general idea of common issues covered by warranty.

 

There is a TSB out for the tranny. Im not sure if it affects the '04 but I know of the tranny problems and the retainer sleeve going bad. You will definetly know it though. My buddys went bad and when the clutch isnt engaged all you hear is a loud clunking frim the tranny.

 

There are several TSB's out there, but you'll have to know someone in Ford or be willing to pay to see the entire TSB. But just a note, just because there is a TSB out there doesn't always mean that Ford will just go out and fix it for you. You'll more than likely have to push them and have the TSB with you to emphasize your point. The TSB is more of a way for the techs to go about looking for common problems and are not really for the general public, although they should be.

 

Yeah, I'm aware of this. I understand that the car has to be showing symptoms before they can do warranty work. I know it's much different than a recall...

I'm just looking for a heads up, so if I ever do experience problems it won't be an all out war with the dealership...
