I appreciate the props. The simplest way I can say why i didn't degree is this:
I built this engine knowing that it is 1000 HP capable. I drive the car knowing that I CAN'T hook more than 720-740 rwhp. I know on pump gas this engine will easily surpass 800 rwhp. If i degreed, it could've made 1100 hp and 820-840 on pump. If I can't hook with it, it's useless. So I saved the hours it would've taken because my time was more valuable than the little bit of absurdly un-usable power I would've (possibly) gained from doing it. In the end, every last bit of power is cool for bragging and bench racing...but in reality, un-hooked power is wasted power.
I'm too broke for huge tires/rims. LOL!
