Not that I don't like them lol. If done correctly, they will yield great results. A custom grind cam set is probably a lot more useful with a turbo set up. The Stage 3 COMP cams are great cams and make incredible power.
To spec a custom set of cams, is really pure guess work. In a set up that is not radical at all, like yours, its unnecessary, and you risk getting cams specs that may NOT EVEN be as efficient as one of the "off the shelf" cam sets. Not worth the $1200 risk, in my opinion. You literally tell the people what engine set up you are running, and it's pretty much guess work, when they give you custom specs.
For me, I actually had lethal performance spec me out some cams, and the only difference between the cams they spec'd and the stage 3's, was that they spec'd my exhaust lift to be .475 instead of .450. Everything else was the same as the stage 3's. Being a supercharged vehicle, it is obvious why I would want to "under" cam the car than "over" cam it, so I just went with the Stage 3's and I have NO regrets!
