recently went to change out my throw out bearing in my 96 cobra and gave up due to not being able to get the top two tranny bolts off..... upon reassembly when i put my short shift back in it goes into all gears.... but it doesnt feel like it used to, way to much play...... did i loose a bushing or something off of it??????
any help is much appreciated thanks

 

there is a plastic bushing that goes where the round part of the shaft on the shifter goes into the trans.
