Default Oil Leak

I have rebuilt my 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT. I put in an aftermarket oil pump a Ford M-6600-046 STD is the oil pump. It seems to be leaking at the bottom of the oil Housing towards the engine. When I installed the oil pump, the shaft that hold the oil housing to the engine and the oil filter also screws onto this shaft, Is there a O-Ring in the middle??? I know there what looks to be a slot for an O-ring but the stock O-ring doesnt fit. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
