So, what you're saying is that putting underdrive pullies on a car is similar to putting tire shine on a drag radial/slick; like you've done in your sig pic?

Exactly. It might add some bling to your engine, but its a waste of money and time, and doesn't really help, and could actually cause problems. Only difference is tire shine for me is free, and it was picture taking time.

These replys really **** ME OFF! Why do some people insist on hating so much? Often times it is not what you say, but how you say it. Differing opinions can be respectfully exchanged without hatefull speach. I have a pretty good idea what "M F J" stands for...

For whatever my "dumb ***" opinion is worth, I would use underdrive pullies if you plan to stay NA and won't be adding any accessories that require additional electric power. There is NO QUESTION that FORD would not have put underdriven pullies on the 2001 Bullitt if there was NO GAIN from them. The Bullitt pullies were only moderately underdriven at that. I replaced my factory Bullitt pullies with Steeda underdrive pullies that were a fair bit more underdriven that my Bullitt ones. Every little bit adds up to make a difference. If you keep throwing pennies into a jar, after a while you will have a dollar. Each individual penny doesn't seem worth much, but together they have some impact.

Always take the advice given on forums with a grain of salt, and always consider the source of the information and why they may be saying what they are. Remember that not everyone's set-up and objective is the same.

Thank you, somebody with some sense...

When you have a 800hp car...sure udps won't do junk but an na b head car will see gains. Like stated by me and this very suave fellow above me...every little bit helps

I thought since he claims to have an 800rwhp car, he had a ***** long enough for the whole internet to hang out?

MFJ... just go ahead and /yourself. You got trolled like a mother****er, first of all. And second of all, you don't know your *** from a hole in the ground. You're correct, UDP's don't create power, can you explain their purpose for me? I figure if I just troll your ***, you may logically answer a question without being a douchecanoe.

Don't hesitate to consult whoever built your car for you for the answer sheet to this thread, because I can tell just by your posts, if given all the tools and the instructions you still would find it difficult to get the square block in the square hole.

pwnt.

And just to ice the cake, most people don't tire shine their car to take pics inside their garage, but good try with the excuse to tire shine a slick. Maybe one day, sir.
