Default SCT Tuner

Does anyone have any good tunes that they recommend. I bought my car from my friend and he has a custom tune on there already but just the 1.

What car do you have? If it's an 03/04 Cobra, do a custom tune, lol

i say gettin a tuner is useless unless you get your car tuned on a dyno!! get the most bang for your buck....tune it for 93 oct but like i said get it on a dyno

Personally I got my tuner through American Muscle. Though if you already have the tuner I dont know if you can still get their Bama tunes. But I think that having a race tune with the 2 stage rev limiter enabled is pretty nice. Just one less thing for me to worry about when racing.

yeah most dyno tunes run 350-400 depending on how complicated your setup is. if it's naturally aspirated it should generally be a little bit cheaper.

I have an SCT live wire and its a simple tuner to use, but ditch the preloaded tunes and perfor a custom tune. I, for example, retarded the fuel curves just a little, and bumped the timing 4*, 3*, and 2* at different intervals throughout the power band, really nice little tune.

For a 97 cobra, we have some tunes that will really work nicely. We make sure that all of the timing tables are properly set up to deliver exactly what we're commanding. We also set up the fuel tables properly, and calibrate the MAF based on your aftermarket modifications.

Give Bama Custom Tuning a call at 888.226.9764 directly Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM EST and talk to one of our tuning reps, who will give you tons of details!
