Exclamation Vibration issue

There's a vibration in the front of the car when driving at 55mph+. If I'm accelerating it goes away instantly. . Other than that sometimes when I come to a stop you hear like a click from the front kinda feels loose.. I already replaced the tierod ends a few months ago bc they were frozen. What could it be?

On a side note went to the track a week ago And couldn't Get traction best I could put down is a 16 sec 1/4 on street tires.. spun thru first, second, third and forth so I just ordered some Toyo R888's semi-slicks will be on by the end of the week hopefully hit the track Friday night and get some good times, will post soon

could be numerous things allignment, not properly balanced tires, control arm, upper lower ball joints....i would check ALL your bushings both front and back and see how they all look

another way to try to narrow this down is pay attention when you on an on ramp or off ramp to the free way does it feel like the wheel is moving back and forth even alittle bit....thatll tell you that you should start replacing control arm bushings if that doesnt fix it then go to ball joints

if you took your car to the strip and burned the grap outta it you also coulda thrown a belt in your tire

I have enough wheels/tires to swap between the 2 Cobra's...that would be a good start....

^^^ Well said...something could also be loose...motor mount...

Thanks. Exiting and entering the freeway there's no play. If I turn at all the vibration goes away. I brought one of my rims to get checked out to see if it was straight and it wasn't so they are going to restraighten it.. I'm also going to replace the two front tires to elimate any rim/tire problems and go from there. I do have to say the difference between my new rear tires(R888) and old(T1R) is amazing.. feels like a whole different car

Update: I got the two front tires installed and an alignment. Now the vibration doesn't start until 65+MPH and isn't as bad as it was before until you reach about 75mph... and a little more detail, if I'm accelerating at a modest pace I would call medium the car doesn't vibrate at all but if I'm hardly on the gas it does vibrate a lot or if I'm heavier on the gas it vibrates a lot.. a friend who helped me install the tie rod ends said the ball joints looked like they would need to be replaced soon and that was about 3-4 months ago. So I think next step is the ball joints.. any suggestions on brand to get? Or if you have a better idea what else it could be?

Well good glad it helped clear that up. Looks like your just basically doing the 60 to 90k mile maintenance on it. Most ppl just wait till the parts fail to replace them as would I hahaha!!! But as far as ball joints is just whatever you feel like doing there fairly cheap go to advanced auto or Autozone get them real cheap they'll last for awhile go to american muscle or lethal pay alittle more they last alittle longer. If all your bushings in your endlinks control arms ball joints etc etc look alot just replace them all cause if a few are bad then there all bout to go bad unless they were previously replaced!
