Hello, I have a 1998 Mustang Cobra. I purchased it used and I don't know when or if the Radiator Hoses were changed. It now has 95000 Miles on it but the Hoses look fine. When should they be replaced?

 

I start getting nervous at 5 to 7 years. You are at 13 now. Supposing they were changed once, you're due again. Better safe than sorry.

Aside from that, only careful inspection can tell you anything. Look next to all the clamps. Are the hoses ballooned at all? If so, they are done.

 

look for dry rot or the clamps if they have started digging though or if its cracked...yank on them if they crack or leak replace if they dont do anything then leave it
