Default cobra t-56 question

What would be the best route to get a t-56 to handle at the most 650 hp. My t-56 needs a rebuild and i was wondering what i all need to be able to handle all the torque with a spec stage 3plus clutch thanks if someone could write a list on what i need to get i will have a tranny shop nere by do it thanks

input shaft will prolly be the first to break

output shaft would go second

if it were me and a tranny shot had it all tore apart i would have them put all new internals(sycncros,forks,stops..etc) in there minus the gears themselves cause most likely they are fine

its basically preventative maintenance

no you should be good man...just have this one refurbished mine holds 650hp with a twin disc clutch a 2step and drag slicks...i have to switch to solid bushings to lauch it that hard cause it will tear through polyurethane lol and the tranny has held with new internals and input and output shaft

No need for viper spec, that is way too much cash for not that big of improvement. The T-56 is already a beast and will take some serious punishment. Biggest issue will be the clutch and input shaft like he already said.

just take it to your tranny shop and say hey rebuild everything except the gears...i know youve had some major trouble with your car in the past but dont spend more money if you dont have to... trust me everything has been broke on my car and i actually have a new tranny cause when the output shaft snapped it destroyed it...i have a t-56 back in it cause there great there strong and i know itll work
